The Assistance League of Los Angeles and its Operation School Bell program teamed up to provide 150 backpacks to students at the Hope Street Margolis Family Center (Hope Street) at Dignity Health – California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC).
The 150 backpacks were placed in the Hope Street Margolis Family Center library, awaiting distribution to the students. (source: assistanceleaguela.org).
Each backpack donated to the Hope Street Margolis Family Center contained hygiene kits and school stationery for the students to use. (source: assistanceleaguela.org).

The backpacks filled with hygiene kits and school stationery were handed out to students, many of whom come from underprivileged communities served by CHMC.
